The young emerging rapper from Jatinangor was born and raised in Medan, North Sumatera. Baskara Rizqullah grew up in a non musical family, but his folks thinks that their kid should so they sign him up to a piano course and make the boy fell in love to music at a young age. Middle School to Highschool punk rock and hardcore music soaked his ear, to Basboi there’s this special feel to those music, freedom. through their sound and words bands like Descendents, Mxpx, Greenday to H2O, Have Heart really drives him mad as he was obsessed of writing music and words he made a Punk Band called Postponed and later Joined ‘Mindwar’ a Hardcore Band. fast forward to the time he was obsessed to Red Hot Chilli Pepper, and Rage Against the Machine that make him hooked to the kind of fast singing with funky flows and playful but clever use of words for the lyrics.

 

2014, he moved to Jatinangor attending University of Padjajaran and met a new friend named Panji Wisnu, a guy with enormous music talent and enormous learning will, by this time Panji was a keyboardist in a band, but he self taught him producing music and never stop exploring since. Basboi had a vision of a song, but couldnt find a band mate. but he knew that Panji could produce, so he came to him and his debut single ‘Nightdrive’ is made and it went well, got numbers of listener and have him discovered by Cul de Sac Collective whom emailed him an offer to made a song for their anniversary compilation album. since then Basboi jumps stage to stage in Jatinangor and Bandung such as Postal Explicit, Qualitea Time, Serupa Music, Softsounds, Toserba vol 1, Flatecash and will be on Widelanes Festival this september. also noticeable reviews and press release on his latest track Cozy can be seen made by Whiteboard Journal, The Display, Incotive, Gilanada, and many more. prior to this day this rapper just released a new music video for his new single called ‘Dying Breed’ that can be accesed through Indontation’s Youtube Channel.
